And so Estilo Filipino begins.
Ted Martinez called me up at 6am. That's soo unheard of here in NY! I wake up for work at 830am and still manage to get to work on time.

Et picked me up. Surprisingly, Pat and Rica were there. They've decided to be homeless people for the previous nights and slept in Penn Station. Et picked them up there. That's why Rica was calling so early too!
We passed by Mcdo for breakfast and still managed to be the first ones in the Museum. We had a short rehearsal, followed by chaos because Ted was not aware that there was another event before
ours, so we had
to scoot to the first level (Our show was on the 2nd floor). Poor Ted, the whole area was already set-up.
I saw a familiar face who helped out with the show - Lee. He was very cordial to me. To that, I am grateful.
Ate Claire showed up arounf 1pm and did I and Et's hair and make-up. If i didn't know her, i'd have thought she was a professional, seriously.
Guests started to arrive. Popo & Gerome came, then Pat & Rica, followed by Erica, Claire, Mom and Dad. Et, you have enough guests, so I'll say Rica went to the show for me. :) Daryl showed up at the last part of the show. Better late!
Then the show began. Et and I had 3 parts all in all. First was simply to tie the paper balls to a post, then the Spanish Filipiniana dresses, then the modern get-ups. In retrospect, the whole event was fun, although it pretty muched breezed thru what with all the commotion going on backstage.
After the show, we went to Ihawan. We were famished. Mostly Et and Pat, really. Then... my house to play the ame of the season: Taboo. Daryl, as usual, was KJ and didn't join us.
Lol., we only had one
blooper today: NewJersoy Transot :)

White Rabbit - Friday
This is my second time here in this lounge. First time, it seemed pretty neat, but this day.. it seemed BLAH, and consider that it is Friday.
Joy stayed for awhile muna in our office till 6pm. We took the subway downtown. Erica was the guest bartender, and of course, we were there for support (kahit na I don't drink). We got there - it was dead. WE left, still dead.
